Upper Midtown & Lower Central Park

This walk covers some of the most iconic architecture and scenic views in New York City.

We start at Rockefeller Center, capturing you against the grandeur of one of the city's most celebrated Art Deco complexes — the plaza, the facade of Radio City Music Hall, and the steps of St. Patrick's Cathedral just across the street.

From there we head north to the southern edge of Central Park — Gapstow Bridge, Overlook Rock, and all the lovely nooks and crannies that most visitors walk right past. It's a quieter, more intimate side of the park than you might expect, tucked just steps away from the bustle of Midtown.

If you're looking for a walk that blends iconic architecture with natural beauty, this is the one for you.

If you want to add truly world-class views, consider tickets to Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center's legendary observation deck. The views are extraordinary at any time of day, but sunset is something special. If you'd like to time it for sunset, we'll simply do the walk in reverse — starting in Central Park and finishing at Rockefeller Center as the light fades over the city. I'm happy to help you figure out the timing. There's an additional cost for tickets for you, me, and my assistant, and some advance planning is required — but the photos you'll get are worth every penny.
