MARRIAGE BUREAU WEDDINGS
Twenty Minutes to Married
I’ve photographed over 100 weddings at the Marriage Bureau, at both the Manhattan and Brooklyn locations. It’s a very New York way to get married: a short, sweet ceremony, a license in hand, and the whole city waiting outside for your portraits.
Since the Bureau moved to an appointment system, the ceremony itself usually takes 20 to 40 minutes from arrival. That leaves time for photos with family and friends and couple portraits in and around the neighborhood. Many couples take a few shots out front, then head to Brooklyn Bridge Park for the skyline and the bridge.
Whether it’s just the two of you or a small group of guests, I’m happy to help you plan the day. See my elopement pricing and FAQ for details, including what to know about timing, weather, and where to go after the ceremony.
