The Ceremony
The Moment Everything Changes
A ceremony can be two people exchanging vows under a tree in Central Park, witnessed by nobody but the squirrels. Or it can be a hundred guests rising to their feet in a landmarked Brooklyn church. I've photographed both, and everything in between — at the NYC Marriage Bureau, in synagogues and cathedrals, on rooftops and riverbanks, in backyards and ballrooms. Whatever shape your ceremony takes, my job is the same: to capture the moment you become something new together, exactly as it happens.
